Rocks, Grits, Tractors and Lightnin' Bugs

So, Love Potions 1 and 2 took a trip to the Promised Land with me for almost a whole week.

The jury is still out as to who enjoyed it the most.

As much as I love to go home, it's even better when you have Love Potions to take, because:

Remember the magic hour when you were a youngun' and it was summertime?

It was a little cooler because the sun was going down, but it wasn't pitch black dark yet?

And your feet got the itch.  To run.  And run.  And run.

And you laughed and giggled.  Because it felt good to run.

And you chased each other.  Cousins, siblings, whoever.

And you laughed and ran until you lost your breath.

And you caught fireflies in a jar.

And life was good.

The Love Potions reminded me how it felt.  Except I could only watch the laughing and running this time  (too old, too fat).  But I remembered the feeling.

And it made me happy.

And life was good.

(Love Potion #2 will be leaving shortly to fly to New York for his photo shoot for the cover of GQ magazine.)

Thanks Tim! There will never, ever be a video game that can come close to that kind of fun.

There is nothing like it. Matt and I almost cry when we think there will be no fireflies in Oregon. We're trying to catch as many as we can at dusk before we leave!
