Dear Miss North Carolina,

Congratulations on your new crown. The local newspaper has a beautiful picture of you this morning and yes, you looked beautiful in your blue gown. There is Wow factor in town today. Even I, the queen of the "Come on, Let's Go Make Fun of the Beauty Pageant" Society am thinking, "Hey, the kiddo could have passed her on campus at some point."

Even so, the real winner of last night's pageant would have to be Miss California.
