Since way back in June, when we had the UnBirthday Party for Miss Alice, complete with Tea Party decorations, I have been promising Love Potion #1 that we would have our own tea party (minus the tea, of course). But we had to wait for the weather to cool.
It had definitely cooled by yesterday.
And we had the tea party of tea parties.
Minus the tea, of course.
It was very much a team effort. But it was a huge hit.
Unlike most tea parties, ours included a huge pile of leaves to jump in and a ride in the back of a wagon piled up with blankets.
It also included jewelry making and fingernail painting, and was finished off by watching "How to Train Your Dragon".
We had fancy peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, we had fancy pimento sandwiches, we had black olives, we had baby oranges, we had Ritz crackers and cheese, we had chocolate chip cookies. And of course, we had hot chocolate and Kool-aid.
Not your run-of-the-mill tea party.
Love Potion #1 even let Love Potion #2 join in sometimes, even though it was a girlie-girl party.
And it was great.
And there were 3 tired girlie-girls and 1 tired little man last night.
And it was great.

The menu kinda sounds like the PERFECT tea party!
You and your Love Potions seem mighty blessed to me.
It was so much fun! Both of the other moms were telling me today how much fun the other girly-girls had and how much they talked about it.
Love all these photos and the idea! You are the best GG. I loved the photos on FB. Ben and I could not believe how grown up all the girls are! Wish Samara could have joined them.
YEAH BABY! That's MY kind of tea party and I'm putting this in my mental index file of parties-to-throw-later. :)
